E3 2014: Rainbow Six: Siege Announced At Ubisoft’s Media Biefing
Ubisoft has finally taken the wraps off of the upcoming sequel in the Rainbow Six series. While it isn’t the Rainbow 6: Patriots game that everyone was expecting (that game is cancelled). It does look like a worthy successor to the franchise. The game is titled Rainbow Six: Siege and it was shown off at the end of Ubisoft’s press conference.
The footage showed a 5 v 5 multiplayer match in which the, presumably, police forces breach a house in order to rescue an NPC hostage from a group of hostiles. The game looked incredibly frantic and fun with a heavy focus on tactical teamwork in order to rescue and extract the hostage. The game is expected for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC in…..you guessed it, 2015.
