Eager for some more Dark Souls fun? Well good news then, it looks as though Namco Bandai has confirmed that there will be a closed-beta for the much anticipated sequel Dark Souls II heading our way later on in the year. Be warned though, only the bravest adventurers need apply for what looks to be one of the most challenging beta experiences ever!
Namco Bandai has confirmed that this will be a test environment which will truly push a player to the limit. You will delve into one of the most treacherous areas of the Dark Souls II world; players will not only get the chance to explore an entirely new area of the game but also experience overwhelming battles, fiendish challenges and if you thought the first game was tough this promises a punishing and unrelenting difficulty level that only developer FromSoftware can deliver.

Dark Souls II is set to launch in Europe, Australia, North America and Asia in March 2014 on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The beta is scheduled to begin on October 5th, 2013 in North America and Europe for the PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Network.
